Harry en Meghan geven er de brui aan op Instagram

Met 11,3 miljoen volgers waren ze nog altijd populair te noemen. En heel recent lieten ze weten juist weer wat actiever te gaan worden op Instagram. In verband met de Corona-crisis wilden ze regelmatig tips en adviezen gaan delen.

Dat lijkt nu dus niet meer te gebeuren. In een post met wederom een donkerblauw tegeltje met een quote en daaronder een lange tekst ter verklaring en uitleg, lijken de twee afscheid te nemen van het Sussex Royal-account op Instagram.

“Je ziet ons hier wellicht niet meer, maar we werken wel gewoon door”, valt te lezen. Wat opvalt, is dat de mogelijkheid om onder het bericht te reageren, deze keer is uitgeschakeld. Dat was bij vorige berichten niet zo en toen kon het stel iedere keer rekenen op erg gemixte, waaronder flink wat harde, reacties.

Het is niet bekend of Harry en Meghan samen een ander IG-account gaan starten, met een andere naam. Het Sussex Royal-account (en ook de Sussex Royal-website) blijven in ieder geval wél nog een tijd online, maar dus zonder nieuwe berichtjes.
