Camilla doneert aan slachtoffers van bosbranden Australië

Camilla heeft haar steun aan de slachtoffers van de bosbranden in Australië niet alleen mondeling getoond. De echtgenote van prins Charles doneerde gul aan de Australische organisatie GIVIT.

Givit is Camilla dankbaar voor haar donatie. “Dank aan de hertogin van Cornwall die de wijze waarop GIVIT bosbrandslachtoffers helpt, heeft omarmd.”

Charles deelde vorige week al, mede namens zijn vrouw, zijn medeleven in een video op Instagram. Ook sprak de Britse troonopvolger zijn bewondering uit voor het Australische volk. “We weten allemaal hoe ontzettend speciaal en veerkrachtig het Australische volk is. Dus ik weet dat ondanks deze verschrikkingen jullie een manier vinden om eruit te komen. Alles dat ik kan zeggen is dat wij aan jullie denken en voor jullie bidden. Ik ben heel trots dat ik jullie ken.”

Ook koningin Elizabeth, prins William en zijn vrouw Catherine en prins Harry en zijn echtgenote Meghan deelden eerder hun verdriet over de Australische bosbranden.
